We buy used vinyl LPs and 45s, and cassettes – whether just a few at a time or a whole collection. Our general rule-of-thumb is to pay from 30-50% of what we would sell the records for in the shop. The exact amount we pay per record depends on the artist, title and condition. We are interested in all genres of vinyl records, tapes and CDs and we pay more for ones that are especially popular or sought-after.

They don’t have to be perfect – a lot of these things are pretty old and have been played a lot of times – but we do try to stay away from records that are extremely scratched up or have visible water damage, mold and things like that going on. We always pay more for sought-after records that are in great condition. If there are price-tags on the records from another shop, please do not attempt to remove them before bringing the records in, as it can damage the jackets. What an old price tag says has no bearing on what we will offer you for it. We appreciate the opportunity to find new homes for your old records and always strive to be fair and transparent about what we offer you for them!!

We are particularly interested in rock, jazz, R&B and country titles, but we will take a look at anything you have for us. We are also interested in  music-related books, Blu-Rays, DVDs and VHS tapes.
