If you have a new or recent release and would like to promote it by doing an in-store live performance, stop by the shop (or email us) to set one up. We generally don’t book in-stores via social media messaging or over the phone, and in-person is preferred. We have a PA, 3 vocal mics and 2 DI boxes, with two monitor wedges running a single mix across the front. 

We can host an in-store on a Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday. A 30-minute set is about right, a little shorter or a little longer is ok. Please be advised this is a small space – the store has a comfortable audience capacity of 30-35 people at most.  If you have never been here, we suggest you come by and check it out before asking to book an in-store. We have hosted everyone from experimental electronic artists to acoustic singer songwriters to punk and metal bands.

We do not have a “built-in crowd”. Attendance at in-stores is largely dependent on whatever promotion you do. We do not charge a cover. We have a cash tip jar for musicians on the front counter. Feel free to bring a printed QR code to put on there as well, if you wish. We prefer that you sell your own merch, as you would at a club show.

With a few weeks advance notice, we can arrange to have some complimentary beers and sparkling waters courtesy of (512) Brewing and Rambler Austin, while it lasts. From there it is BYOB.
